Poe is forced to move in with the dad she never knew when her mom abandons her for her career. When she starts at her new school she finds out that the rich kids there get away with bullying that's so bad it's a wonder someone hasn't died or been murdered yet. ”

She see different classifications of people as well as much bullying. I like how I personally can relate to the main character Poe because I say how i feel as well as her(In a more kind manner) but being she's a female and some don't really take in account their opinions I like how she puts it all on the line to stand-up for what she believes in , And she comes off strong with what she does ! verbally or physically. This was a inspirational book as well. This is a book all teens should be REQUIRED to read honestly i think it would open their eyes a little more.

“Michael Harmon did a good job addressing some very serious issues that face teens today with the at times over the top, but definitely strong and very likeable, sassy punk rock Poe; as she puts it all on the line to stand-up for what she believes in. I also appreciate that Harmon saw fit to have Poe called out when she was out of line; pointing out that even when intentions are in the right place, how a person goes about addressing a problem can be the difference between improving a situation or making things worse.”

But when she looks closer she realizes that it isnt as perfect as it seems on the surface. When her new found friend is burtaly bullied she stands up and eventually saves his life. ”

Unfortunately, the people who should read it won't, and even if they did, I don't think they would "get it". A sad commentary on many schools. ”
