I was a huge fan of The Doors in high school. Even though Jim Morrison's poetry was confusing at 16, I still was drawn to it. That must mean I picked up on something.

It is a good thing Morrison stuck to his day job. His writing leaves much to be desired. I think he gave it the old college try which is commendable. I prefer Soft Parade on vinyl to his attempt at channeling Huxley while dropping acid.
