WTH!?!?

While I understand that Mary B. Morrison has a knack for pushing the envelope and keeping it hot, I'd hoped that she'd also include a story with some balance, a good plot and substance. I don't know if the story was lost in the writing, editing or if it was deliberate, but...

Loved the poetry. very good read;Single Husbands by Honey B is one of her latest and greatest works of urban fiction. Ms. Honey takes us on a wild ride through the lives of three wealthy men and the women, who love, cherish and chose to wed them. We are introduced to some down-low activity on parts, the men as well as the women. We frequent sex clubs and participate in quenching our lusty thirsts with outrageous sex scenes. There are a multitude of children inside and outside of the marriages who are missing quality time but are financially well taken care of. Infidelity is at its highest and it gets better--they are all friends. To what extend would you go to find true love and happiness? Single Husbands is comical, interesting, and gives a fresh outlook on marriage. While all husbands are not unfaithful, there are many who want to still act like they are single, while doling out chores, allowances and such to the wife. This was a fast-paced, drama-filled read that will have you staying awake all night just to find out what the wives will do. Kudos to Honey B. I recommend Single Husbands to readers of all genres and Honey B fans.

    WTH!?!?

While I understand that Mary B. Morrison has a knack for pushing the envelope and keeping it hot, I'd hoped that she'd also include a story with some balance, a good plot and substance. I don't know if the story was lost in the writing, editing or if it was deliberate, but I like my sex with at least a nice slice of story. I think that this may be the last read for me and Mary. I'm sure many will enjoy her erotic tales, but I need a story to follow with my helping.

This book is extremely X rated. The characters are off the charts. I would like to see a novel with the character Nikki as the main focus. Donna should have killed Lexington, and Michelle should have left Brian, but maybe if there is a sequel these cads will get their comeuppance.

I think it was well written. Not for adolescents to be reading for sure. The story was engaging and entertaining. I'm somewhere between 3 and 4 stars but they don't let you do that.

This was a horrible read! The sex scene was too monotonous; it went on and on, way to long. All I can say is STORYLINE PLEASE. Towards the end of the book, you get a taste of a story. I will not be reading part II.

The basis of this book is it is not in marriage vows to be monogamous. The three men in this book frequent freaky sex clubs, have other women emotionally hanging on the side, yet love their families. One of the men also loves his gay partner.
Through part of this book, I felt strongly that the author was taking up for the men. She also wrote compassionately about the painful emotions the women have—emotions of rejection and longing. In the end, will the wives stay?
There are dashes throughout the story of reasons for the men’s infidelity—other than being jerks. They blame their women for being too un-kept. They blame them for being too masculine. I cannot help but to think that they were looking for some reason to blame the women. Of course, this is written by an “other woman”.
Let’s not ignore the heat. This is erotic fiction. Do not read this if you are faint of heart. This is not a book you want to be caught reading in public. My only complaint is how the chapters skip back and forth from character to character. I would rather it gone straight through one character before switching points of view.

These men are off the chain. i like how she told the story about the three women and how in society so women would put up with what there man is doing and then some will not. i didn't like the way she tried to add the topic about he childern until the end and the fathers being a deadbeat dads. i just think she should have left that out.

    More Story Please!

Three married men and friends behave as if they are single. As a premise, it was worth exploring.

Unfortunately, "Single Husbands" has something else in mind. Just what, I'm not sure. Despite being told from multiple points of view, with alternating chapters told in the voices of the men, I didn't feel I knew them any better at the end of the book as I did with the beginning. Their egomaniacal behavior swamped their identities and any other qualities they possessed. With the exception of Nikki, Herschel's wife, we knew little to nothing about their wives. We didn't know why they did what they other than they could. As these couples came together, split up and regrouped in different pairs, it's hard to care much. "Single Husbands" isn't a terrible novel, but it's not much of a novel as there is more sex than an actual story. I've enjoyed Mary Morrison's previous work, but this failed to deliver.
