They compare him to Stieg Larsson, but he's so much better! Intelligent thriller with an unexpected ending that I loved. I'll sure look up his other books.

Someone is robbing banks and the robberies are becoming violent. Meanwhile, Harry has problems when an ex turns up dead and he has no memory of the night she was killed. To make things worse he is getting anonymous e-mails that implicate him. A great story with many twists and turns.

Ok, so I had to keep going and now that the sequence of events makes a little bit more sense, I'm thoroughly enjoying this character and Jo Nesbo's style of writing. Two days into this book and I've already gone through a third of it! Comment after finishing this book: got me hooked on the Harry Hole novels, I definitely want to know what happens next. It's tense, intelligent and gripping!

Second Harry Hole (pronounced 'Hule') book and I find this a bit weird. I'd recommend this book, except you really need to have read the first one to get the context. Ok recommend then, but reluctantly. I liked the plot which was much more enthralling than the first book. The way Harry works out the bank robbing plot is good, as is the result in the end when he does his hercule poirot revelation speech. What really is annoying is that we have a second book and it becomes so obvious that Tom Waaler is linked to the death of Ellen that scooby doo and Velma could have figured it out. Please don't let it drag on to book four Jo, please! I did not read this book on my amazon kindle, I read it on my iPhone.

The fourth Harry Hole book starts with a hard to solve bank robbery and much of the story revolves around Harry himself being accused of murder - which he himself dosen't know if he's guilty of, on account of a blackout. The Hole-novels are really good police thrillers, with nce references to nordic locations and writing, nothing unique, but the storyline will keep you wanting to read more. Pity that the first two books are still not available in english - the series really should be read in sequence.
