“Rachel Caine has done it again. She's managed to include suspense, romance, action, and tragedy all in the span of 231 pages. I've mentioned in my previous reviews of this series that the books are short...but the author definitely didn't hold out on the plots and characters!

I don't have much to say (for once). These books are thrilling, quick reads that are great for throwing in between longer or more difficult to-read books. They're my version of brain candy. The author does take the time to develop the plot and characters, but you'll fly through these books in no time, which for me, is part of the appeal.
If you haven't read this series yet, I'd recommend you do so soon. Be warned though: you'll want to have the next one on hand. Rachel Caine tends to leave her readers with awful cliffhangers!”“Book 5”
