Can we say, "Let's see how much we can stretch out a series and provide no plot or character development". I firmly believe that these writers are in it for the money. I lost interest in this series because of the lack of character development, the slow plot, repetitiveness at the beginning of each book, and the length of time in between each book. As a result, I quit buying the books and read library copies. The series was mediocre at best (I really had to push myself to finish the series) and I could have told that story in half the number of books. Oh well, it is a capitalist economy.
