This is a story of a woman's independent spirit, her learning to breathe to survive. The course of her survival and rehabilitation took this photojournalist to many sacred sites. This world traveler and photographer, after a near death experience in Laos, survived to climb Kilmanjaro and to make a pilgrimage to Mount Kailash. This is a story of courage, human goodness, and the interconnectedness of life. I highly recommend this book. It will make your spirit soar!”
