“Good for YA and/or fantasy readers. I'm not sure why this series doesn't get more attention. Nix writes thoroughly enjoyable stories, setting them in textured and politically complex lands and peopled by fascinating female and male characters. If I had a daughter, I would make sure she grew up on Nix’s female protagonists; I longed for such female-centric fantasy literature when I was young.”

“loved the books! tension, and romance, and action, zombies and dead on earth, magic and necromancers! ideas were excellent! plus the two main characters sabriel was really cool, but i love lirael! very enticing and enjoyable, =]”
