I got this book from the Library for researching my soon-to-be-released membership site.

This book is wonderful for understanding design elements, especially color theory, fonts, and layout.

I read "Beyond Bullet Points" by Cliff Atkinson, "PresentationZen" by Guy Kawasaki en "Slide:oloy". "PresentationZen" is definitely the most inspiring book, whereas "Slide:ology" has the best technical apporach.

Basically a condensed version of my bachelor's degree in Graphic Design. A good read to see what a good presentation should be, but not necessarely a recipe book to achieve it yourself. What most people will realize after reading this is that they need a Graphic Designer to help them out.

Great read! Wish this was a mandatory read for all pre-service and current teachers.

This book was phenomenal! Nancy Duarte shows you the methodology for "why" we should do things a certain way as well as showing you real world examples. This book should be on everyone's book shelf.

For those that do a lot- or even some Power Point* presentations- this may help turn your presentation for your teacher into one remembered- and hopefully score that "A".

Not something you want to read cover to cover or 12hrs before your project is due.
Take the time to study the tips, and then apply them.. piece by piece, not all at once. There is a lot here, graphic design and visual design elements. Everything from picking a visual pleasing font, how much information to pack in one slide, and how pictures/photos can 'tell' your story.

*This is not a manaul on how to use PowerPoint but a how-to create a visual pleasing presentation using technology.
You may get hooked on how much you can do, and how awesome your final product can become.
