“I've read my share of pregnancy books, mostly out of fear. Our first child arrives on May 28th and at 38, I've carefully arranged my life and have no idea what to expect from the changes my wife will be going through during the pregnancy, never mind the shock and awe of the arrival of a brand new human being. THIS book, with it's wonderful humor, blunt language and clear instruction, was just what I needed. I picked it up and began flipping through it while my wife was signing us up for the registry at Babies R Us, which until that moment was like being on that crazy boat in Willy Wonka: I didn't know what to do, where we were headed, or what was expected of me. I mean I knew generally, but damn, Babies R Us will freak you out if you are unprepared for three square acres of things your baby NEEDS. This book had practical lists and genuine advice for all the new experiences that were coming my way. I highly recommend it to expectant fathers everywhere.”
