Honestly, I loved "What to Expect When You're Expecting" but I hated this book. While it did have some useful information, it made me neurotic. First time mothers have enough anxiety as it is. Why add to it with development charts that make you nuts if your kids isn't blowing bubbles at 3 months? Also, I felt the authors were a little bit ridiculous with some of the suggestions they had. Who is going to go to the trouble of fake breast feeding with the contraption they suggest??Let's get real. The world won't end and your child will still bond with you if you bottle feed. All this type of neurotic, over the top advice does is create future helicopter parents with maladjusted children.
