I loved this book, but I don't feel like saying much about it. I loved it as a son and as a brother. I didn't want it to be over when it ended. I read Gilead a while back and I was glad that I read this one second, though I imagine reading them the other way around would have been illuminating in its own way, and most likely just as good. Reading a book like this is a reminder that everything astounding about being human, both good and bad, is happening all of the time all around us. When someone tries to explain that and they do it poorly, its grating. When Robinson does it, it's profound.
