This book is great. Though the cover is still on it, it has an entire layer of scotch tape holding it together. Very much dog-eared. If you like the unusual, you will like this book of very different poetry. "Don't let that horse eat that violin cried Chagall's mother"

The first book of poetry to spark my curiosity. Exposed to it by a chance acquaintance, it blew open my then yet constricted knowledge about how to express ones' self with paper and pen. An absolute treasure

Given to me by a great friend, she's a better poet, but this makes for great "I'm going back to NYC to try again reading." Too bad he wrote anything else though.

Ah, San Francisco in the 60s. I got my copy of this book at the City Lights Bookstore where Ferlinghetti used to hang out.
