I have read this more than any other book. It always makes me sit back and wonder. What if. . .

Not only do I ahve this book, I have the first magazine in which H.G. Well's story, "The Time Machine" was printed in. It looks like a comic book cover, but has no pictures inside and has 1 other story in the book with his. It's definately got a special place in my library.

Such a big story for such a short book - one of the most interesting science fiction concepts of all time and Wells was the first to tell it (according to wikipedia anyway). His social commentary and his visions of the future are fascinating. A classic.

This was sooooooo good! As always, the book is a thousand times better than the movie.

One of the greatest sci-fi books of all time. Unfortunately the film adaptaions have all sucked.

I was so surprised that I liked this book! I guess I like the big picture of it all.

Interesting ideas about the future of society, technology, power and evolution. Somehow I wish Wells would have delt on these matters a bit more. However, reading it along with Brave New World and 1984 makes up for it.

Some classics just don't click with me, I guess.
