  “This narrative poem book is the sequel to Love That Dog. Jack continues writing to his teacher about his life, weaving poems that she has read to the class into his thoughts. Jack is hilarious and very matter-of-fact.

  “ This is the second book that goes with Love that Dog by Sharon Creech. Jack is still writing poetry. I think Jack is in 5th grade. Then there is the mean nasty fat black cat that likes to hang out in the tree. Untill he gets a CAT!! So he never thought he would get cat or kitten. After that well, I can't tell you. By Lizzie”
