“Not as good as her first 2 books. Definitely read Joy Luck Club and Kitchen God's Wife as higher priorities than reading this one.”

“This is the first Amy Tan book I picked up and I was intrigued by the first sentence. It sounded humorous and I thought this would be a great read. I could not get past the 3rd Chapter. By reading all the reviews on this site everyone seemed to enjoy it. I give it a thumbs down.
