This book was about Maysie the bird who was sitting on an egg and she was bored of sitting on it so she asked Horton if he can sit on it and he did. He sat through fall, summer, spring and winter. Then hunters came and took Horton and the egg. Maysie saw them and the egg hatched and out came a Horton bird. My favorite character was Horton because he was so nice to Maysie. I liked the book because it had lots of animals talking and Maysie was so mean.”
