Yes | No“This was my first read by Tiffany Warren and I found it to be a pleasant change from some of the Christian Fiction books I have read. Her characters were very endearing because they were so believable. Tiffany was able to articulate with clarity, the struggles that people experience in the quest to walk out a righteous life.To live for Christ is not easy and the thing that appealed to me so much about this writer, was her ability to demonstrate that from the male, female perspective, the new and the seasoned believer's perspective, the young and the old. We all struggle with our personal issues and not every story ends on a high note. Life isn't that way. Simply put, she kept it real! I believe that in order to make a difference in others, especially in this genre', you have to be able to weave a story that is reflective of the human experience. She was able to deliver her message without being "preachy" I laughed out loud, empathized with a few of the scenarios, got angry and shed a few tears while on the journey with Ms.Warren's character's. I hated to turn the last page. I would recommend this story to anyone who loves a saucey story that allows you to connect with the storyline because you actually recognize some of the folks you know ...maybe even yourself as you turn the pages. (smiles) After reading this book, I went straight to Amazon.com and purchased more of Tiffany Warren's work.Hit me up if you'd like to discuss this book or have any questions. My book club will definitely be selecting this as a future read!
Totally in Love with Books,

One day he see's Shayna watching a mega church service on TV after a night of intimacy with him and as he is watching he sees the large congregation and decides to write a story summarizing that with the size of that church, this Bishop has to be a womanizer that lives in a over the top house and drives an expensive car like a Bentley. His dad funds his trip to Atlanta from Ohio to write the story of his career but to his surprise, he comes to the church and gets filled with the holy ghost and gets saved and finds the Bishop is humble, preaches the word of God, drives an older car and welcomes him into his ministry. Darrin is trying to live a "Holy" life before the lord but meets two ladies that are giving him a run: Emoni and Dorcas who are both totally the opposite of the champion fornicator that he has been. Both are fighting for his attention and Emoni wins his affections but guess what surprises from his past await him.....”

Darrin Bainbridge is fortunate; fortunate to have wealthy parents to finance his up-and-coming writing career and most recent "big expose." He believes he's found the story that will launch his career - exposing the secrets of mega-church pastor Bishop Kumal Prentiss. What Darrin didn't account for, however, is the pastor's daughter, Emoni Prentiss. Finding himself falling for Emoni, Darrin is torn between the story of his career or maybe the woman of his life. Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Love, sin, forgiveness and conflict show up in this tale. Warren's Darrin Bainbridge is opportunistic. But it's his underlying sense of morality that makes us care about him. "The Bishop's Daughter" flows smoothly. An appealing read.

Darrin Bainbridge is single, educated, fine and can cook. Salivating? Well stick to your appetizers, `cause this main course has more game than Milton Bradley. While he's honest, the last thing he's looking for is to be tied down with one woman. Maybe the problem is that Darrin hasn't met the woman that God has made for him.
Emoni Prentiss is `The Bishop's Daughter.' While she's never thought of herself as outwardly beautiful like her siblings, Emoni is still the full package, yet she's single. Well, technically she could have a man, Oscar, who everyone assumes will be her husband, but he's not the man she wants. She wants something that resembles what she reads in her steamy romance novels.
`The Bishop's Daughter,' by Tiffany L. Warren, has got to be one of the best books I've read. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, the flow of the story and the fact that the author wasn't afraid to show that Christians have real issues. This is the first novel I've read by Tiffany L. Warren and I already find myself looking forward to what she has slated to release next. Readers who may stir clear of Christian Fiction for fear that it will be too preachy need not worry, `The Bishop's Daughter,' while it teaches to walk with Jesus, is also dripping in enough sin to blow the roof off the church.
