This book made me think about what it would be like o be a part of a family where your father is a mafioso and you are the only child that knows his true identity. I must say I believe because the end of the book is just weak. The begining of the book is great, but the end? The way that two cops got corrupted is described is just ridiculous. “Interesting action and plot, colourful characters - it's great book when you want to spend some time reading. It's easy to read, but on the other hand I forgot about the book just after finishing it. If you want to relax - it's a good choice.”

The story of the rise of Astorre, the new Don, this book manages to garner some amount of sympathy for a gangster that you should otherwise loathe. The killing scenes come so suddenly and are narrated so well that you cringe in discomfort. My favourite part was the ending, the way it all came together. Really liked it. ”
