“Although the premise of the story - a contest to award a title, land, and money to illegitimate or second sons - seemed a bit far-fetched, it was a novel story line. Unfortunately, the plot was a bit predictable; I wasn't surprised at all by the ending. To me, this was more of a character study of Sebastien and Caroline. The layers and complexities of these 2 people were revealed slowly which gave us an opportunity to watch their friendship grow and their love blossom. Sebastien and Caroline learned a lot about themselves as the relationship between them grew and changed. I liked them both and was rooting for their HEA.”
