I like some of the things she keeps the same like the bond between the characters and the fact that the women usually put up a struggle (even if somewhat half heartedly) before they accept the whole lifemate thing. It’s just that I feel there are more places to have sex than in an underground cavern; in a park, in a car, in a meadow, on the beach, by a lake, on a boat, hell even in a McDonalds. I can understand the underground springs being romantic, and they were the first time or two, but now they’re just annoying.

Well I have read about 7 books of the series, but I think I liked best the first three. After that, yes, she always put caves and hot springs and velvet voices... It feels just kind of the same story over and over again. It is entretaining don't get me wrong, but of course there are several things that stay the same so much that you can tell what is going to happen.

Has anyone else noticed that Feehan has a thing for underground hot springs? Just an observation. Now when I’m reading her books I try to guess at what point they’re going to the hot springs.
