“Brands are all around us but few of us realise we can own parts of these companies. That's a real pity. But the truth is many of us find the idea of getting into buying and selling stocks a little daunting. How does one read a company annual report? How do you pick stock that will make you money? What I love about this book is how it addresses very pertinent questions on the basics of investing with a very down to earth approach. Whatever your age, if you would like to understand the stock market, and get an understanding of the history of capitalism along the way, you cannot get a better starter guide than this book.”
