I learned a little about the Latter Day Saints and Mormons. The author does a terrific job of going between the two main character's story lines.”

Yes | No“i picked up this book at Costco and then went back for it and it was gone and I thought it was a Mormon conspiracy which made it all the more interesting to read. It's not great literature but I was fairly unfamiliar with the details of Mormon history (I wasn't paying attention when we toured Temple Square years ago) and this was entertaining. The author intertwines the two tales fairly skillfully although the contemporary tale has a more interesting ending and is somewhat more satisfying.”
