I thought this was a really well written, engaging mystery. It is set both in modern times and back in the days of Brigham Young. The mystery bounces back and forth between a modern day mystery and a book written by Brigham's 19th Wife, Ann Eliza. In the...

Historical depiction of Mormonism and its clash with modern day principles. An insight into Mormorm family life, plural marriage and how this affects the women and children. I highly recommend this book.

Interesting book about the intertwining stories of Ann Eliza Young and Jordan. I learned a little about the Latter Day Saints and Mormons. The author does a terrific job of going between the two main character's story lines.

This book was good for the most part. However the ending left many holes and unanswered questions. It is almost like the book needs another chapter to wrap things up.

i picked up this book at Costco and then went back for it and it was gone and I thought it was a Mormon conspiracy which made it all the more interesting to read. It's not great literature but I was fairly unfamiliar with the details of Mormon history (I wasn't paying attention when we toured Temple Square years ago) and this was entertaining. The author intertwines the two tales fairly skillfully although the contemporary tale has a more interesting ending and is somewhat more satisfying.
