“I've read it in Turkish. I plan to read it in English as well. That book is really interesting. Everyone should read it! When I finished it, there was a huge love of working deep in my heart! The story of success.. There are some common points on different people's stories of success. It was enjoyable to read!”

This information although interesting, was not earthshattering. Does being born at the right time to the right family dictate success? If so, then why even try?”

The point of the book is to show how circumstances must align correctly to produce outliers like Bill Gates and Wayne Gretzky. Gladwell personalizes it at the end by bringing in his own mother's history, and how many breaks it took a Jamaican woman like her to become successful. Like The Talent Code, this book also explores KIPP schools, and how they give people who might not otherwise have a chance the real possibility of succeeding. It also explores studies on IQ, which essentially show that people with high IQs can be brilliant or fail miserably, just like anyone else. The moral of the story? Hard work and initiative are important, but sometimes other key forces must be at work for success.”
