  3. Shelfari

Shelfari edited the summary of Outliers Saturday, October 31 2009.

    • The premise of this book is simple and straightforward. Almost always, people that are radical over-achievers have had factors in their life that pre-dispose them to radical over-achievement.

Bill Gates wasn't just lucky or genius (he is both of those things); rather, he had an amazing set of circumstances and advantages that uniquely positioned him to become a personal computer pioneer and industry maverick.

The premise is obvious by Chapter 2 and the remainder of the book is example after example affirming it. "Malcolm"Malcolm -- you had me at Chapter 2."2." Great premise... and should be contained in a a 100 page book.
