"The Best American Non-Required Reading." It is a collection of reading that most likely would not be required for school. It includes fiction, non-ficton, comics and just random pieces of writing. The stories are unexpected and interesting and a little irrevelant. A couple of the writers are recognizable (like Judy Blume who wrote the introduction and Stephen King. But alot of them aren't. Some are writers for magazines (the New Yorker) or newspapers (Washington Post). There are even lists and blogs and comics in book. Another reason this is non-required reading. This was a great book!”
