The plot line was weaker but still read worthy.”

It was about Seth a Fire Dragon who has magic. He is called from Dragonspace by a Dragon Master. He thinks Carol is the one who summoned him. But she has know idea what he is talking about. After awhile you find out that her mother was a Dragon Master and she also did not know she was one. That is very dangerous. Seth and Carol take quite a journey in this book. I must say I enjoyed this book very much. All the characters from the last two books are in this book.”

Carol and Seth's story is one of the most emotionally griping of the series due to the unique power that Carol inherets from her mother. The Black Lotus Order is evil, but Carol's power is in its own way very scary. The cast is back from the other two books and makes for a well rounded story. Their reactions to Carol's ability to master dragons is well written. The love story is sensual and passionate. The overall story is a great ending to a fantastic series. 4.5 stars.”

I've read the Dragon series by Allyson James sometime ago and I'm going to review these books together since they have similar traits. The main thing I like about these books is the author's "voice". Allyson James is a very good story teller. She is one of those rare ones who can weave a story around a reader's head and make a reader forget reality. Completely whisk you away to another world. She creates a world with such convincing authentic flare that suspension of disbelief is too easy. The magic system is believable. None of those, well it's like that because it's magic, no rhyme no reason. No, in the Dragon series the magic is like that because... it has a cause. A reason which is believable. I guess that is one of the reasons that her story telling quality is very very compelling because of the "convincing quality of her stories". I could go on and on and on about things I like about theses books but I'll let you find out for yourself instead...
The thing I hate most about this series is that it takes years... I mean YEARS! to wait for the next one!! Like book 3 was published in 2008, it's the end of 2010, when is book 4 coming out already?!

This was a very entertaining read indeed! The movie did not do it any justice at all. The succedding books did not compare either.
