I don't know why this book was published in Brazil with two titles: just "Shushi" and the translation from the brittish name, "Sushi para iniciantes". But it doesn't really matter. I think that Sushi starts fine, but it doesn't end very well. In the same time you love and you hate the caracters, and you can clearly see some relation between sushi and Lisa and Ashling. But what about Clodagh? By the way, Clodagh is a bitch, and she's Marian's caracter that i most dislike...

Sushi For Beginners is the story of three woman in Dublin. One a high power magazine editor, who thought she would be promoted to New York, finds herself in the magazine backwater of Ireland. The other two are friends, all three of them are looking for love with varying degrees of success.

Sushi for Beginners is a fun and quirky chick-lit book. I really like Marian Keyes' writing style. I always seem to be able to relate to her characters and their lives. This was tagged humor, but I found the book more amusing then laugh out loud funny. Although there was a great bit about Barney, the annoying dinosaur.

It is a hilaroius love story of three women who live in Dublin, Ireland. I fell in love with Marian Keyes writing style and this book has made me her fan.

Cool. Not as much as Walsh sisters but still very cool.
