What a heavy tome! Chronocles of the Nixon adventure in Cambodia, a neutral country, and the gory aftermath of a policy of abandoning a needed friend, first in Saigon, now repeated in Phnom Penh, and how the innocents were just sold out for a song or less, and pushed into the arms of the unfriendlies, who were actually the friendlies--the phonies the Americans were posing to be in the region to all.

Shawcross was very brave to have written a book which unfortunately is ignored by...
