Long read, but recommended by one of the Williams Girls(Tennis Stars). Half way done, but it is very witty and easy to read.

When I first started this book I thought it was just another chick lit type that would be a fun book with no real enlightenment. A few chapters in I realized it was more than that. I loved this book because it was funny and playful, but also very real and consistent. An excellent look into addiction and the mind of an addict, with a humorous twist. This could have been a very serious, humorless book; but the author does an excellent job of keeping the story slightly positive and allowing you to really like the main character.

My favorite Marian Keyes book ever. (Ever!) I love the entire family in this series, but Rachel's Holiday just engaged me like no other. I laughed out loud at her adventures and got choked up at her realizations; all the emotions a really great book can bring out. I loaned this out and it's making the friend rounds (still) including a trip to Hawaii (not with me, sadly), so I expect it to one day return dog eared, water logged and sand-filled but loved thoroughly by all of its readers.

I really enjoy this author and her writing style. The characters are funny--a bit selfish at times--but often have made my smile or laugh. This is one of the best books by Marian Keyes, and I recommend it.
