This book sucked!! The author just goes around in circles describing the same thing over and over again. None of the characters are likable so you don't have anybody to root for in the end. I would skip several 20 pages at a time and the story still hadn't gone anywhere. I don't recommend this book at all! And the title makes no sense.

All Keyes books are hysterical, and if you're a woman who grew up in the 80's you will LOL on every page. Did you marry early in life and wonder what it's like for single women today? This book will reveal all you need to know. And if you're still single wondering when Mr. Right or Mr. Good Enough will come along, you will instantly connect with her characters.

I liked that you didn't really know who would end up with whom and whether things were going to turn out nicely for certain characters, yet I felt there was an appropriate resolution for everyone at the end.

I love that you get the inside of working for a fashion magazine. You also get a great feel of living in Europe. I love the author's use of slang in this book. I also love that this book portrays 3 views, 3 main characters.

I had read a couple of books by Marian Keyes before I read this one, and I gotta say I'm quite disappointed... I absolutely adore Marian Keyes; her books are interesting, funny and touching. It was clear that this book was _trying_ to be funny, but it was only silly. And there was no clear plot line to make me wanna continue the book, it felt just like a glimpse of several people's lives. I'm sad...

Marian Keyes takes three unique women leading very different lives and throws them all together, creating another captivating story that takes place in the heart of Dublin.
Ashling is a young single woman, looking for love and a great career. Her love life is in shards but her career holds promise until she realizes she is working for an unrelenting, competitive editor.
Lisa is that editor, who pushes herself and her staff to the breaking point as she tries to fill her life with professional success.
Clodagh is Ashlings dearest friend. She is gorgeous, has a wonderful husband and two "delightful" children, but, something is missing.
Marian Keyes weaves her story through the empty places in their lives and develops an enchanting and piercing tale of coming to terms with those things in life that really are critically important. Crafted with her delightful sense of humor and a wicked intense honesty, this is a wonderful tale of life.

I didn't like it so much. In truth, I got about half way through and lost interest. Nothing was happening. There was some good humor and some funny stuff, but I need a plot to make it through.
