“This is an excellent book about how a person can only complete themselves. You can try to find the right person, but if you do not "complete" yourself then you cannot be truly happy, at least not forever. This would be a great read aloud book for older elementary school, and probably even middle and high school because so many young people are trying to find a boyfriend or girlfriend when really they should be looking for what is important to them as individuals. The illustrations are typical of Shel's work and really help to emphasize what the book is about.”
