Liked It “Anyone who likes fantasy but has his belly full of dwarves, dragons and orcs should try the books by Stephen Hunt. Set in a Victorian world his novels are full of zeppelins, living robots (but in an old fashioned way), orphans, thieves and heroes. |

“A middling effort by author Stephen Hunt. I liked this even less than his debut novel, "The Court of the Air." While some of the characters were interesting, the plot really seemed overly contrived. Not too much else to say about this book. I think I'll take a pass on reading the third volume which has yet to be released in the U.S.”

I love the series that Hunt created, this being book 2, especially great is that in this book some minor characters of the Court of The Air are main characters whereas some main characters of Court of The Air only play a very small part in this book. Doing so Hunt creates a whole universe with some of the best characters I have come across in years.
Highly recommended!”
