Not big on legal mystery type novels, but I enjoyed the sarcastic humor of this author. With a golden retriever as a beloved "main character", there lies another reason why I look forward to reading more of this series!

this is the first book (and the last) I've read by this author...he certainly has some good one liners....nice sense of humor....however, the writing, the plot, the characters were all too weakly developed for my tastes.....
read a little over half of the book...gave up....read the last chapter to see if it was exciting enough to entice me to continue reading....it wasn't
