The book clock work by philip Pullman is a book full of mystery. And a huge twist along the end. Karl is the lazy apprentice who needs to make a new figure for the towns clock but puts it off. he steals one from an old man named kalmenius and it kills him. This book has an even larger twist beyond that. I would recommend this book to practically anybody it is a great book.
