“I love the three books. Pullman has created the most imaginative story ever. There is suspense and also a deep philosophical aspect to it. It's fantastic. The first is the best of the three, but the other two are really good too.”

We will see how I feel about The Amber Spyglass.”

Reaches across universes in the best religiously-bound children's literature since the Chronicles of Narnia. Perhaps one of the most creative story lines, the most lovable and hateful characters, and the most frightening premise in juvenile fiction ever to be conceived. ”

“it was a great series, the way the author writes about the loving relationship between Lyra and Pan is genuine, it really comes across to the reader!”

I actually found it boring. Imaginative, yes, but not interesting or entertaining. And not even very well written according to me. Had to read all of them to see if I would get the hype, but didn't. I couldn't relate to a single character. Also, couldn't understand the authors dislike, hatred even, of organized religion. Waste of time for me. ”
