“As noted several reviews of this book, it starts out rather slowly and seems to contain some unnecessary information. I had some of the same complaints about the first book. The last half of this book is good and it gradually gains momentum. The characters keep you interested as more history is revealed. Unfortunately, the ending seems unfinished and basically sends you on to the next book in the series. Overall, I still really enjoyed it. ”
