I found this book to be a solid sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, in fact, I may have liked it ever better than the first.

In this book we learn more about Salander. Skillfully exposed throughout the course of the novel, bits and pieces of her background appear until by the end...

Second book in the trilogy. This was not as good as the first book, but still extremely intoxicating and hard to put down. He shares a lot more about Lisbeth's past in this book so you get to understand more about her personality. However, I missed her interaction with Michael.

The high points are people fighting with hammers and leaving cryptic notes on hacked computers. Ignore the dom in the corner, she's just there to keep you focused. Especially ignore the lady cop- can you image anything more annoying?

This was not nearly as well written as The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo. The ending seemed cumbersome and not really feasible.

Intelligent Thriller. This book is an international best seller and is book 2 in a trilogy. I bought Book 1(The Girl with a Dragon Tattoo) after reading that the author, a young journalist in Sweden, delivered a trilogy to a publisher and then died before any of the books was published. I enjoyed book 2 even more than book 1 but I would read them in order as the main characters are the same and the stories happen chronologically. I am looking forward to book 3 which will be published in May, 2010.
