Liked It“We read this book for our retreat and found the discussion around it very rich. Much to say about quotes from the book that is simply written by rich in content.” see full review » see other reviews » |
Didn’t Like It“Maybe I've read too many inspirational books, but a lot of it sounded like a repeat of what I've read in other books. I found myself daydreaming while reading because it's a little wordy.” see full review » see other reviews » |

Actually, this was a great read for me. For all of my viewing audiences, I wanted to show the serious side and share with fellow Shelfarians something other than romance...although I still love a great romance novel!! =)”
“I always enjoy Marianne's books.”

I have found that "middle age" does not need to be seen as a turning point toward death. As a matter of fact, I have seen more miracles in the last two years of my life....more than I could have believed possible! This book only confirms what I have seen in my own life! Please read.........”

But as I read the intro while in the cafe of my bookstore, it felt as if she had a microphone in my head. I completely resonated with her feelings & experiences. Funny, heartwarming, honest, account that will give you the strength to create a NEW midlife, not the one your mother had!”
