Loved trying to find all the illustrations that begin with the letter on the page. Finally a good picture book for Adults! It will keep you busy for close to an hour, looking at the book & then going back & seeing what you miss. Worth a look.

The alphabet flavored as only Neil Gaiman and Gris Grimly could do. The verse is entertaining and the pictures are whimsical, scary and sometimes gross. There is a "dangerous flaw" near the end.

I really enjoyed this book. I really like both Gris Grimly and Neil Gaiman and thought that the two of them together managed to write a really funny children's book. It is definitely not the typical type of children's book but I thought that the way that the it was done with the alphabet as a story was good. Ans as always I am a fan of the artwork of Gris Grimly. I thought that art was really cool and the writing of Neil Gaiman is always nice to read.

I had expected more of this little book because of the praise lavished on it by other Shelfarians. Nice enough - not for small children though.

A great and entertaining read for Gaiman fans. Not for just any child as it is written in typical Gaiman style, slightly disturbing and lots of fun. Beautifully illustrated by Gris Grimbly.
