Felix Stanislaus is a Jewish boy, son of Jewish booksellers, hidden at a Catholic school by his parents as the Nazi's are becoming more powerful. He has been in the school for three years but Felix is convinced that his parents are on a book buying trip and will return for him. He is unaware of what is building around him.
