I'm not so impressed with this one as I was with the others. The whole series is rather good, but I hated seeing Noah using Leah for his own purpose. It had changed my view of him and I was tempted to leave the book and to not read it after the first couple of chapters.

Best book in the series so far and since they have all been very good, that's saying a lot! Loved it!

    SPOILER ALERT!!!!

This book falls flat on it's face. I was hoping that the demon king's story would've been the best of the series and now i'm not even interested in finishing it. It's quite boring really. The story is thrown together without all the momentum of the other books in the story, passion doesn't build and you don't feel the burn (that the fire demon should make you feel!) And the demon fairytale of 'the miserable princess' just ate of pages of storyline that could have been devoted to Noah!!! I was surprised at how bad this book was, a total bummer since all the others in the series were so good, this one was mediocre at best. I love my vamps don't get me wrong but to go back to Damien's world in order to make the story go somewhere just seemed wrong. So there, not a good book. Oh well.

He is King, and one of the few fire demons. She hates men and doesn’t want any one controlling her. Oh, she’s an adrenalin junkie too. In their dreams they come together in the most basic way. Noah must find her, and with the help of Leah and her ability he brings her back. Now he just has to win her. Bella locks her child away with her and refuses to speak to anyone. A group of vampires are doing the forbidden, Ruth is still on the prowl, and the demon boy’s keep learning the same lesson. They can’t control what their very willful women, and Noah is no exception. But can he control a woman whose job was breaking in and out of building, blowing them up, sky diving and lord only knows what else?

Poor Noah. I was expecting such a great story for the Demon King and didn't get it. Nothing happened. No mention of Ruth...nothing.
