Chef Bourdain's book is a collection of pieces, most of which he wrote for Gourmet and other publications. He's is usual edgy self, still in love with food and cooking. The end notes added his reflections since he wrote the original article.

A good bedside book - can pick and choose the pieces without following a plot line through the whole book.
