Meet Charlie, a fourteen year old girl attending a specialized Sports school in New Avalon, a place where just about everyone has a fairy. No one ever sees their fairies, but it's obvious they're there: they bring a special kind of luck to their people. Charlie has a parking fairy. She can't even drive and she hates cars, but everyone wants her to ride with them so they can get a perfect parking spot wherever they go.
