“Beautifully written horror story set in the "old" proper south. This is not fly-in-your-face terror, but a slowly growing erieness that seeps into your conciousness. It had me leaving the lights on at night & wishing I hadn't read it when my hubby was away on a trip. I highly recommend it.”
“This book has A LOT of dialogue that the story could do without. Since it's apart of the 'Stephen King Horror Library', I was expecting something scary and/or disturbing to happen. Don't get me wrong, some things did happen, but just like King's books, it's alost HALFway through. In the end, I wasn't very satisfied with this at all.”
