I stand in awe of Philip Roth! Eight books in the past decade - each one (and I have read them all!!!) has had an impact on me.

The two prior to this were difficult because, while I am only 10 years younger than Roth, they covered topics of aging that were painful to accept.

Indignation was full of surprises for me. It covered another era, not the present, not old age.....and ended brilliantly.
