“This is the third book in the series and takes place some sixth months after the events in the second book. Prince Artur is still trying to get Fred to merry him, and Fred is serving as a liaison between the mer-people and the humans. Her father shows up and claims he is going to try to make atonement for attempting to overthrow the mer-people king several decades earlier.
Still, there are nearly 500 mer-people that have some missing, and there is a possibility that the military may be somehow involved. So Fred tries to find out what is going on, tries to balance her interest between Thomas and Artur, and tries to avoid having even more people staying with her.
There's a lot of humor as in the other two books, and this makes a good addition to the series.”
“Cute ending to a cute series. ”

I read it first which I don't normally do, I always read a series in order, because it was the only one I could find. Probably the main reason I read it is because I am a serious sucker for mermaids and there aren't that many mermaid books out there. ”

She wrapped up the things that needed wrapping up but gave us some room to use our imaginations as to what happens next to these characters.”

First by Jonas with wedding plans, then Thomas, then her father, the traitor. Artur tells her Undersea Folke are disappearing, however their relationship is tense since the discovery she is mind blind even as she says yes to his marriage proposal. After Thomas's naval father gets them top secret information and Mekkam, the king of the Undersea Folke, asks Ferram, Fred's father, for help things go downhill. Who knew being a hybrid would be so helpful?
It's over--the silly series with less sex and less humor than Betsy. It wrapped up faster than a gift bag and just as neat with a half page sex scene as the bow.”
