“I really like Cornwell's books. This is not one of her best. If you have not read prior books about Scarpetta, the characters would not be well understood. If you are a Scarpetta fan then read this to keep up with the lives of the various characters which appear in all her books.”

“I think maybe the scarpetta series is nearing it's end. It was ok to read. Predictable at times. It was not made clear what happened in the previous book with Marino and kay and could be construed as more than actually occured to a new reader.”
