Really fun mixture of graphic short stories. Most are stand-alones, but a few are serials that continue in later volumes.

I'm not sure why I am fascinated by the flight series. Of the twenty-one stories in this volume I really liked two: Beisbol 2, and The Changeling, there were maybe three others that I think I understood or enjoyed in some opaque way. The rest of the stories I really didn't get; I may have followed the story lines to some degree, but when I got to the end of each story I was left to wonder what was the point? I enjoyed the illustrations for each story a lot and that is what keeps me reading the Flight series.

What I'm reading now is a part of the book where there is a little kid and he wants to get his favorite baseball players autograph but when he finally gets his favorite players attention to sign his ball he gives his ball away to a girl and then the little boy gets sad. Then a rookie baseball player from Mexico from the previous story's gave him his baseball that he had got from his neighbor that he said was like his grandfather. He made the boy a deal that if he stops crying that he would give him his ball and that's when the little boy asks him for his autograph.

A great anthology. Full of really intersting stuff. Obviously there is some bad with the good, but there is always something to take away if you're interested in the process of creating a comic.

Wow. Kazu knows how to pick 'em. This is a collection of about fifteen short stories told in graphic novel form. I didn't want it to end, but am glad that I can go back and read volumes 1-4. My favorite story in this collection was [a href="http://www.flightcomics.com/flight5preview/preview/jpahonen/"]"Worry Dolls," by J.P. Ahonen[/a].
