I thoroughly enjoyed reading Brisngr, which is the third book in the Inheritance Cycle series, written by Christopher Paolini. This book was at first intended to be the third and last book of the supposed trilogy, but in the end, Paolini decided to separate the to be last book of the series into two separate parts, Brisngr being the first. If he kept the the two books as one, the length would have been extensive, and it would have summed up to over 2000 pages. In this respect, I am grateful, as Brisngr was extremely long itself, and not an easy read, as the length and the dragging story made it difficult to finish. The book itself was very good, and you could see Paolini's growth as a writer since the first book, but I feel that Paolini has to not let his writing get the best of him, and stick to the events that actually concern the plot, instead of including meaningless filler that may turn off some readers from the book.
